A website everyone can use

My commitment

K.D.L sees accessibility as part of the service. The site was built to allow equal, independent and comfortable use by everyone, in the spirit of the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.

Target standard

The site was designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. Israeli Standard 5568 is based on these guidelines.

Testing: a self-assessment completed on 15 October 2026 scanned every page with Wix's accessibility tool, measured colour contrast on every page in both the light and the dark colour theme, and checked the reading order and the layout on desktop and mobile, in Hebrew and English. No issues were found in the requirements tested. The site has not yet been audited by a certified accessibility auditor.

Measures in place

• Semantic page structure: one main heading per page, an orderly heading hierarchy and labelled navigation landmarks.

• Full keyboard navigation, a clearly visible focus indicator and a "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page.

• The mobile navigation menu opens and closes by keyboard, and also closes with the Esc key.

• Text alternatives for meaningful graphics, with decorative graphics hidden from screen readers.

• Form fields with visible labels, marked required fields and error messages announced to screen readers.

• Colour contrast at level AA: at least 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text, with no information conveyed by colour alone.

• Respect for the operating system's "reduce motion" setting.

• Language and text direction set on every page: Hebrew right to left, English left to right.

• Layouts adapted to different screen widths without horizontal scrolling, with support for browser text zoom.

Known limitations

Any limitations found in testing will be listed here, together with an alternative way to obtain the same information.

No known accessibility limitations were found in testing.
